NVDA is a freeware screen reader app filed under text to speech software and made available by NV Access for Windows.

A screen reader app for assisting the visually disabled:
NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) is a free screen reader which enables blind and vision impaired people to use computers. It reads the text on the screen in a computerized voice. You can control what is read to you by moving the cursor to the relevant area of text with a mouse or the arrows on your keyboard.
NVDA can also convert the text into braille if the computer user owns a device called a braille display.

NVDA is licensed as Freeware for Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system / platform from text to speech software without restrictions. NVDA 2018.2.1 is available to all software users as a free download (Freeware).
Compatibility with this screen reader software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from NV Access Inc.
